You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your password and any API tokens. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

- You have administrator-level access to the WordPress installation
- You authorize CodeMyWP to perform operations on the site as directed by you through the Service

Connecting a site requires installing the CodeMyWP WordPress plugin. The Plugin establishes a secure, authenticated connection between your WordPress site and our servers. The Plugin also installs a must-use plugin (MU-Plugin) for automatic error recovery during operations.
4.3 Scope of Access
When connected, the Service has the ability to:
- Read site configuration, file contents, database records, plugin/theme information, user data, content, menus, widgets, settings, and debug logs

All operations are initiated by you or your team members through the chat interface or automated workflows. The Service does not make changes to your site without explicit instruction.
4.4 Safety Measures
The Service includes safety protections:
- Critical WordPress core files (
wp-config.php,wp-admin/,wp-includes/) are protected from modification - Dangerous database operations (DDL statements, privilege escalation, multi-statement queries) are blocked
- Actions are classified by risk level (safe, moderate, dangerous) and may require explicit approval
- Before/after state capture enables rollback of most operations
- An MU-Plugin automatically detects and rolls back changes that cause fatal errors
4.5 Risks
Despite safety measures, AI-assisted modifications carry inherent risks. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated code or changes may contain bugs, security vulnerabilities, or unintended side effects
- Modifications to your site could cause downtime, data loss, or broken functionality
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of your WordPress sites
- You should review proposed changes before approving them, especially for production sites
5. AI Services and Third-Party Providers
